The Te Paki sand dunes near Cape Reinga are a sight to behold, 5 km deep and over a hundred metres high, this is possibly the most work I've ever had to do to get one photo, since the sand was at a 50 odd degree slope, 15kgs of camera gear didn't make this a fun climb at all, the view at the top was well worth the climb. Going down was a lot quicker, and bouncing down like Neil Armstrong on the moon was amazing fun!
